Adorable Hairbow Holder

I saw this idea on someone's blog back in January, but I can't remember where I found it. It took me FOREVER to find a cute frame, but I finally did, and it turned out super cute! I can't wait to have a little girl of my own someday so I can make one for myself.
It was very simple to make....
Start with a decorative frame...

Mine was a mirror, so I took out the mirror part, and left the frame... next I spray painted it white to cover up the rose pink that was there before. After the white paint was dry, I painted over it with a pearly white acrylic. It was SO cute! I then used a hot glue gun to glue ribbon to the back of the frame... and here is the finished product! I didn't take pictures of the process because I was so excited to get it done, but you can see it was WELL worth it!

Finally, a post!!!

I am finally starting to post some of my projects... the cable to the camera was lost for a while, but now it is found. I will start from the beginning, so check back for more!
First of all, my biggest project (and my other excuse for not blogging earlier) is that we are expecting, in August. This is our second child, and this pregnancy has definitely taken it's toll on my energy. But, enough about that.

My sister in law had a baby in February, and this is the nursing cover and burp cloth set that I made for her. I didn't take pictures of the process, but I will be making another set here shortly for my own little one, so I will be sure to take pictures along the way for a tutorial.

I absolutely LOVE the fabric, I can't wait to make one of my own! I wish I would have known about these with my first baby, it would have been SO nice! The ribbon trim was my amazing mother's idea. She is an amazing seamstress among other things!

Be sure to check back later for more of my projects!
